Amalgamation Studio is a Creative incubator that brings your events and creative projects to life.

CEO & Founder Shannon White was born and raised in the Midwest where he grew up surrounded by traditional values and religious norms that emphasized conformity and structure. However, a deep-seated curiosity and yearning to explore creativity led him to break free from these expectations, carving a path toward self expression through art.

While pursuing a BFA in Painting from Herron School of Art & Design, Indianapolis, IN, Shannon delved his creative process by using experimental performance work, painting, sculpture and other mediums, to dissect the intricate relationships between family rituals, individualism, and identity. This exploration allowed him to challenge cultural constructs and develop a body of work that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Thus the Amalgamation Studio concept was born with fellow artist Christopher Brown.

After relocating to Utah, Shannon & Chris expanded their practice, incorporating their artistic skills into public art projects that re-imagined and transformed shared spaces. Amalgamation Studio was incorporated in September 2023 and creates work for local artists and other young entrepreneurs.

Amalgamation Studio is queer founded and will always be a safe space dedicated to supporting all marginalized communities.
